A month to the day since I got back to the company, I was able to revisit my favorite pastry store in the city. Not only do they have the best-tasting treats, they're also works of art - it's almost a shame as they were too beautiful to eat.
This was the store where I bought my first macarons -- ever. I've had several of them over the years, most recently in the City of Lights, and I can proudly say the ones at Patisserie Kuyt can stand alongside the best. Glad it's just around the corner.
